Halloween

The night after Ainsley's birthday party Hagen was up vomiting. We should have expected with that many kids in one place and the bouncy house going to several different parties, one of our kids would end up sick. We stayed home from church and he rested all day and didn't vomit again, so we thought he was on the mend. On Halloween I made the kids take it easy and stay home from school in hopes that they could go "Trick or Treating" around the neighborhood. They seemed alright and we went to the street Halloween party. The kids didn't have a lot of energy, but they still had a good time playing with Miles and Ava. As fast as they were running from house to house you would have never thought Hagen was still sick. A few days later Hagen vomited again and now Ainsley had caught it. Ainsley was over it in three days, but Hagen was still sick after a week. I took him to the Dr. because he was getting so thin from not eating. The Dr. gave him some medicine and he was back to himself after a few days. It is such a trying time when the kids are sick, but I'm glad it didn't ruin Halloween this year.
