The Esplin Family: San Diego

We weren't able to go to Island Park with the Esplin's this year because Hagen's school started so early so instead we went to San Diego. It was Labor Day weekend, so we knew that all of the amusement parks would be way too crowded so we stayed and played on the beach. We rented the same beach house we did last year. The kids were so excited to play in the water and build sandcastles. The first day we were there was spent on the beach. The second day, Hagen started asking to go to Sea World. We didn't want to go and fight the crowds so we went to this cute little aquarium in La Jolla that was great. It wasn't busy and perfect for little kids.They probably didn't enjoy it as much as Sea World, but there wasn't any crowds or lines. Overall it was a very relaxing weekend sitting on the beach enjoying the cool weather.
