A busy weekend

We had a very busy weekend starting with the father/son camp out at Bartlett Lake. I am glad that Jason and Hagen got to spend a little time together in the wilderness. Unfortunately they were not allowed to have camp fires, but Hagen was excited and loved sleeping in the tent. The excitement of the trip was that they saw a rattlesnake. I told Jason to take some pictures, but I only got two. He blamed it on Hagen not wanting his picture taken :)

After the boys got home, we rushed to two different birthday parties. The kids and mom were super tired after such a long day in the sun. When we got home I put the kids pj's on and planned on staying home and going to bed early. I was nursing Kinley and Ainsley was jumping on the couch right by my side, she said "Watch this mom" and she lunged herself right off the couch head first onto the tile floor. Jason ran and picked her up and she was crying for awhile. Ainsley pointed to where it hurt on her head and we didn't see anything, I was relived. A moment later I looked over at her head and it was bleeding. I told Jason to grab his shoes and get in the car. We went to the emergency room and Ainsley had to have a staple put in her head. The poor girl was very brave and only cried a little bit. The Dr. instructions were that she take it easy and not get too rough, that isn't going to work with her having an older brother.
