While dad is away...

Jason has been away for almost two weeks now and we are ready for him to be home. He had the opportunity to go and visit his parents in Nepal, where they are currently serving a mission. The first week was very hard, but the second week was a little easier. I think that it was because I was in a routine and the kids were used to me doing everything. The kids have been very active while Jason has been away -  writing all over themselves, playing in the chalk, and causing all sorts of mischief.

Kinley had a good time with the blue chalk (all over her mouth and hands)

We did have a visitor while Jason was gone and the kids were so excited. My brother came out for a night to interview for a dental position. The kids played rough with him and got out a lot of energy that they usually save for dad. It was enjoyable to have him here and the kids are already asking when he is coming again.

We also were able to go to the pumpkin patch with some of Hagen's best friends, Jackson & Brandon.  Hagen couldn't wait and kept asking when we could go. Except for it being a little warm, we all had a great time. The pumpkin patch keeps getting new things for the kids to do, this year they had a giant inflated bouncy mattress located right in the middle of the farm. The kids spent most of their time jumping and playing on it. I can't wait to go next year.
