Hagen's 5th Birthday Bash

Since Hagen's birthday fell on a Sunday this year we held his party on the Saturday before. He was so excited for his friends from Scottsdale to come down and see his new place and for his new friends to come and celebrate this special birthday with him. The theme was Mario Bros., he received a Nintendo DS for Christmas and that is all that he wants to play with and talks about. Mario Bros. isn't that popular right now so I had to order everything online. The cake turned out perfect, thanks to a great cake decorator. We weren't able to hold the party in the morning, which we usually do, because it was Dad's day at school. Hagen was excited to spend some time alone with dad. The picture of them turned out really cute.
We rented a bouncy house, played one game, had a pinata, and ate cake and ice cream. The kids had a lot of fun running around the back yard being crazy. Hagen had so much fun on his special day.

On Sunday we got donuts and sung Happy Birthday to Hagen. He got to open his gifts from his family and we went to church. At church he was sung to again and got to dress up in a nice feather boa. All he wanted to do was play his new game on his DS.

Hagen has become such a handsome, kind, loving boy. I can't believe that he is already five years old, where did the time go. I remember going into the hospital and coming home with a beautiful baby boy. He is such a blessing in our lives and we are so thankful that he is a part of our family.
