What we have been up to....

We brought in the New Year this year by purchasing some fireworks and letting them off in our new backyard. The kids thought that was the best thing ever. Of course the firework show was at 7 and we were all in bed by 8.

The kids love living in their new house. There are so many friends that are over all the time or the kids are going to their houses if the dogs are put away (Hagen is still terrified). January was a busy month of getting the kids involved in their new activities. I promised Ainsley if she didn't go to school any more that she could take dance. Lucky for us our next door neighbor teaches dance at a studio and Ainsley loves it. We also have gotten the kids taking tumbling from a lady two doors down from us. There is a play group on Thursday for the kids to attend. All the mom's take turns hosting it out each others houses.  Hagen wanted to give T-ball a try and I was able to get him on a team right around the corner. He loves playing and has quite an arm. In February he starts on a new team and it is all of the neighbors and kids from the ward he will be starting Kindergarten with. The weather has been so beautiful we were able to attend the zoo, a favorite.

Last year we attended the Disney on Ice and that was all the kids talked about for a month. It was in Phoenix again and my friend was able to get discounted tickets. This year the theme was Toy Story 3, which Hagen enjoyed a lot more than the princesses from last year. We had a lot of fun going with friends, but we missed having Jason with us since he was at work paying for us to have fun :)
