Last weekend was Ainsley's big day, her dance recital. She has been working really hard since January on her animal crackers dance. Each girl was supposed to pick an animal costume, which Ainsley choose a duck (with a little persuasion from her mom). I thought that she would look stunning in a yellow and orange costume on the stage and I was right. We watched the first half of the recital together, then Ainsley went backstage at intermission to get ready. She came out and did a great job, she knew every part of the dance perfect. I asked her if she was scared afterwards and she said a little. There were a lot of people there. I am so proud of her and she can't wait to start dancing again in the fall.
