Christmas

We did our normal Christmas traditions this year by visiting the Temple light, Zoo lights, and the train park. The kids really enjoyed the train park because we were able to go with cousins that were visiting from Idaho.   While we were in line for the train Kinley starting throwing up all over Jason, so I spent the rest of the night in the van while the kids went to see the lights. On Christmas Jason's parents were here visiting and we got a surprise visit from my dad. He joked and said he might come down to see the kids, but I didn't believe him. He showed up at 6 am in time for the kids to start opening presents. Ainsley was really worried that she was going to get an ugly american girl doll. If she was bad Santa was going to bring her an ugly doll and if she was good it would be pretty. Luckily she was good and got a cute one. The kids opened their presents in a matter of minutes and then played with the grandparents and toys the rest of the day. It was nice to be surrounded by family for Christmas, which we have never had in Arizona.

I volunteered in Hagen's classroom and we made graham cracker houses
