Summer Utah Trip

Our summer Utah trip was so much better than last year. The kids did well in the car, slept, and ate. We had a lot of fun being with family (especially cousins) and our friends (that we miss so much).

We were able to attend Jason's parents homecoming from their mission to Nepal and stay a few extra days in Logan to play with cousins. Going to Lava Hot Springs was a lot of fun. I haven't been there in years and the kids had never been. Kinley had the most fun diving off of the steps into the water.

Jason came to Utah for the 4th of July and we attended the Lewiston parade and fireworks. It is so much better attending the small town celebrations than fighting the crowds at the more popular events. We took a day and went to Bear Lake with the kids. They had a lot of fun playing in the sand on the beach. Hagen was a little mad at us because we didn't come prepared with a lunch so we had to leave.

While in Utah county, I visited with my family and friends. We were also able to meet up with Ainsley's best buddy, Azure, and Hagen's buddy Kade. We also did another trip to Bear Lake with a few of my girlfriends from college.

After being in Utah for a month I was ready to come home. Hagen kept asking if we could stay longer. It was good to come home and be in our own home.
